Last year we lived close to Tinseltown so you have to put on a show. We didn’t only put on a show, we went all out. We prepared for two days - which ended-up being only for one kid! It didn’t matter though, we had a good time doing it.
This year back in Veere the [...]
It’s been two years now that we have had an automatic pole in the town of Veere that lowers into the ground when you drive-up to it. It’s to make sure cars can only enter a street from one way - so if you drive-up to it from one side it lowers into the ground, [...]
Jon Stewart body-slams and kicks Bill Bennet when he’s down on the latest Daily Show. Bill mentions The Netherlands near the end of the conversation. I’m glad everyone remembers the Dutch for their liberal ways, but truthfully there are many other nations that allow gay marriage. More precise there are 5 in total: Belgium, Canada, [...]
It’s one of those things you don’t know you need until you need them. You come across them almost every day, we know what they look like, but where to find them?

Malcom Gladwell, author of the best-sellers Blink and Tipping Point, gives a great presentation about what we can learn from the revolution in spaghetti sauce.
As some of you know I’m a big fan of The Simpsons and today I’m in luck, because if I ever get stranded in Springfield at least I know how to find my way!

Last year we already found Dove commercials in California advocating true beauty. It seems they have intensified and globalized this campaign because commercials are popping-up everywhere. In The Netherlands this commercial was launched, but I think this commercial from the US is even more impressive. It makes you think.
Marketing wise they are aiming for the [...]
